We are in Altamura, recognised as the Murgia upholstered furniture district, thanks to the passion and industriousness of those who have always worked with dedication.
It was here, back in 1956, that our artisan manufacturing company was founded, thanks to the determination of our grandfather Rocco who, in a short time, succeeded to give a distinctive mark, making it known for the superior quality of its sofas. Over the time, Maxdivani has grown hand in hand with its production. Thanks to the tenacity and farsightedness of grandfather Rocco and his sons, the passion and courage of all the employees, our company has achieved ever greater success, towards a strong international profile.
But it was with our father figure Mimmo that Maxdivani became the reality we know today. A figure who made human relations the focus of his job, and the quality of the product his main target. A goal we want to achieve together every day, as a group, as a team … as a family. Today, the excellence we have achieved is the result of the common work as an enthusiastic team of people and a network of partners who reflect our values. Spreading and making accessible the true artisan design and originality of authentic Made in Italy sofas is our daily target. Because for us, design is not just an extreme form of planning as an end to itself, but must part of the concept of comfort that we ll look for when we sit on a sofa

Starting from a basic main frame, a soft molded core foam is added and each piece is upholstered with a clear target to ensure maximum comfort from the first time you sit on one of our sofas
